While being a doctor and an author may make me a complete nerd, I strive to balance it all by also making Art, teaching Karate to the kids in the community being a black belt myself - This helps me approach mental health issues from a larger holistic perspective than plainly sticking to scientific mumbo jumbo! Teaching and practicing Yoga, a chunk of public speaking, practicing Karate has taken my intellectual and spiritual pursuit to higher levels which has resulted me to foray next into mental health coaching...

Yoga for the Mind

While it may look and sound alluring to do yoga in the woods wearing tight clothes, it is totally LEGAL to do it in the comfort of your own home, wearing breathable clothes. All you need is a 6*2 feet space and the willingness to do it.

It is OKAY to start where you are and with whatever you have! Everything else will follow - This applies to everything in life.

This is how, "We Attract, Not Chase".

Mental Health Advocacy

It is our collective responsibility to give back to the community whatever we have received. The first step is to educate.

Upon entering this journey of social services, I realised that educating the masses about the right thing was not easy! There are umpteen hurdles you would face when you want to do "GOOD" for the others.

But life would not be this interesting if everything was easy, would it?

All that said, it is important to be happy! And how do we do that exactly?????

This clip of me was taken by a good friend of mine with mediocre camera skills (obviously), in the year 2023, I was 33 at that time and this was a short hike in Peak District near Birmingham.

What made this slide special? many a times, we get so engrossed and obsessed with the outcome of a certain act, that we fail to enjoy the process.

This hike was a last minute plan, something we came up with so we don't sit at home by ourselves during the long weekend - that Friday being some bank holiday.

We were just hoping to walk up the hill, take a few pictures, share some laughter with friends and a few others who were new to the tribe and come back!

Instead: life happens when we least expect it. many a times we care a lot about the planning and the outcome, we seldom pay attention to what we have in hand. the meticulously planned skiing trips nor the luxuriously stayed 5 star hotels ever returned the fun which we invested our money for.

this serendipitous slide across the hill where everyone else was just walking made it a great moment for all of us because it was not planned and unpredicted!
